Julie Parker is a (frizzy-haired and sometimes frazzled) essay and satire writer in Boston. Her work has appeared in Short Reads, Salon, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and on her parents’ refrigerator. She has written a regular column for McSweeney’s reviewing the latest episodes of The West Wing, a TV show that really went downhill when Trump was elected.
